Hi, my name is Kriti & I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say hello 🙂
Born and raised in Jammu, India, I always excelled at academics and dreamt of cracking the coveted Civil Services. But fate had other plans. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I gave up on the competitive exam and was in search of finding meaning and purpose in life. That’s when I decided to further my interest in my hobby (photography) and hone my skill set. And within a year, I found myself in the U.K. pursuing higher education in Photography from the Arts University Bournemouth, U.K.
I fell in love with photographing weddings at one of my initial assignments as a freelance photographer and there’s never been looking back. I love documentary & street style of photography and that reflects in the kind of work we produce as a team. With over 6 years of professional photography experience, I continue to learn to this day and take the responsibility of wedding photography very seriously. Brides & grooms often tell me that, “I’m like their friend with a camera” at most weddings we shoot. I seek inspiration from magazines, music & movies in general but find myself being inspired by the most random stuff sometimes!
When I take time-off from work, I Iike to travel, read or watch a lot of movies & here are some of my favourites - The Devil wears Prada, The Intern, This is Us, The Crown, The Prestige, English Vinglish, Chak de India, Argo, Downtown Abbey, A Beautiful Mind, Pretty Woman, Taare Zameen Par, We’re the Millers, The Hurt Locker, Reign, Hachiko… the list is endless. And yeah, since we’re talking movies, if you asked me what sort of music do I like, a one word answer to that would be Sufi. But I do enjoy traditional folk music, soul, house, trance and sometimes popular music.
I’m truly grateful to each one of you for the love, warmth & appreciation you’ve shown us all these years.
Here to win hearts, not awards ❤️
